Gyms can be intimidating.

We move to music. We build muscle.

We ditch the pressure, the aesthetics obsession, and the shame.

✔️ Want to feel strong and confident — without gym culture
✔️ Crave movement that feels fun, not forced
✔️ Are done with hustle workouts, toxic tracking, or diet talk
✔️ Want real energy, balance, and strength — now and for the long run
✔️ Love music and movement that lifts your mood and your muscles
✔️ Need real support through peri or menopause — for strength, bone health, and hormone balance

With rhythm, resistance, and a room that actually feels like you belong — you’ll move because it feels good. And come back because it works.

❓Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

Is this a dance class?

Nope! Beats & Bands uses music as a guide, but it’s not choreography. It’s resistance training synced to the beat. Think toning sequences and strength work that flows.

I’m not very fit/strong, can I still join?

Absolutely. This class is designed for all levels. We offer modifications for every movement, so you can go at your own pace and build strength safely.

What equipment do I need?

Just bring a water bottle and a towel. Luxe Yoga & Fitness provides everything else. You’re welcome to bring your own mat, but it’s not necessary.

What should I wear?

Comfy activewear you can move freely in, and trainers you feel good in. Barefoot is also totally fine — whatever makes you feel grounded and supported.

I’m in peri/menopause — will this help?

Yes! Resistance training is one of the best things you can do during peri and menopause. It supports your bones, hormones, energy, and mood — and we’ve designed the class with all of this in mind.

Is this suitable if I’m in my 20s or 30s?

Totally. Younger women love Beats & Bands because it’s fun, effective, and strength-focused — without the pressure or toxicity of typical gym culture.

Do I need to keep up with the beat?

Not at all. The music is here to guide you, not stress you out. Move at your own pace, this is about feeling good, not hitting perfect timing.

Is it online or in person?

It’s in person only! Classes are held at Luxe Yoga and Fitness, 162 Harbord Road, Brookvale.

How do I book in?

If it’s your first time, grab an Intro Pass (best value) or book a single class. Then, choose your preferred time and lock it in. Been before and want to come regularly? Check out our rolling passes for weekly access.

What if I’ve never done resistance training before?

You’re in the right place. We guide you through everything — no experience needed. Come as you are.

What if I have injuries or limitations?

Always consult your doctor first and make sure you’ve been cleared for exercise. As long as you have, you’re good to go. We offer modifications in every class — skip anything that doesn’t feel right, and let me know before class so I can support you.
